Some of you met my friend that accompanied me to Mets games the past two years. Thanks to our visit of Shea in 2008 and Citi Field in 2009, there is one more Mets fan in the world. His wife is a childhood friend of Jauss' wife who is originally from nearby Tarboro, NC.

My friend doesn't post here, but he has on a few occassions had in game chats (on Facebook I think) with Jauss' wife during Mets games. He told me they had a nice discussion during the latter innings of the 20 inning marathon victory in St. Louis. They have had a few subsequent conversations since then.
