Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 I don't know how Broadway made it out of the seventh, but he shook off Thole four times on that last pitch before retiring Ibanez.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Um, Anderson Hernandez. Kabookabooom!4-2.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 It would be funny to cause them a painful loss in consecutive games. Pain is funny!

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Thole shit, nice rap.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 I was just about to say that with Thole, Castillo (PHing), and Reed due up if we're going to do this it's going to have to happen by stacking a bunch of singles. And as I say that Thole cracks one off the RF wall - although it winds up as a single anyway.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 (edited) Castillo has been oddly racking up Ks towards the end of the season.April - 6 May - 7June - 4July - 4August - 21Sept - 9 to date Edited September 13, 2009 by Guest

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Tack-on's suck.
Piggiestomatoes Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 I love that Lidge gets his 29th save today and gives up another two runs. 7.18 ERA. What a mess. I can only hope he's the angel of death this post-season and the Fillies are making tee times about a week or two after the Muts. Yeah, I'm pretty bitter with the way the season has gone.
Zach Thornton Syracuse Mets - AAA LHP On Sunday, the southpaw tossed five shutout innings as the bulk pitcher. He gave up 2 hits, walked 2 and had 5 strikeouts. Explore Zach Thornton News >
