Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 Nick Evans, who was heading to New York until Gary Sheffield got signed and was given his spot, is leading the Buffs in plate appearances and is hitting .111.He does have nine walks, and leads the team with three homers (among his 5 hits --- hello, Mr. Kingman) but, my dear, that's a slow start. And two of those homers came in one game. Ken Oberkfell is stil batting him cleanup. He got an RBI groundout in last night's victory over the Scranton-Wlkes Barre Phillies.
