After two Mike Napoli home runs put the Halos up early, Jason Bay hits his second home run of the day to give Papelbon some orang-like-hyperventilating room. 5-3, Massholes, heading into the bottom of the ninth.

And this just in: this Albert Pujols is quite good (2 HRs, 7 RBI, one crying Oswalt on the day). Cards going mercy-rule on the 'Stros-- after 7, 10-nil.

Angels start the ninth with a HR from Torii and a double from Kendry Morales. Mike Napoli (2 HRs today) steps up with 1 out.

After the Angels load 'em with two down, and Howie Kendrick fights off about eleventy 0-2 fastballs, he lines it to right... for a shakily-snagged third out.
