MK and I are watching the Mid-Atlantic regional game between Maryland and New Jersey. Lou Merloni is one of the game's announcers - we used to watch him play in Trenton (back when it was a BoSox affiliate) before he made the majors.

New Jersey is represented by Bordentown's 12-year-old district team. Their 11-year-old district team is the one that MK's team defeated last night. MK remembers watching these guys play against our 12-year-olds in the district tournament, and feels that their fundamentals have improved since that tournament.

Anyway, it's interesting watching these same kids playing on tv.
