He's got some details wrong, I think.

I haven't heard the trade referred to as "Grant's Massacre," but rather the three trades that night recalled as "The Midnight Massacre." He'd remember better than I would, but the lone Google hit I get on "Grant's Massacre" is for a story titled "Federal Judge Grants Massacre Claim."

Baseball-reference.com tells me Seaver made three All-Star Teams as a Red, playing in two, rather than the one reported by the Southpaw.
