Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 Willie Randolph, already selected as a coach for the mid-summer classic, will instead miss the game in order to have shoulder surgery. The procedure will clean out some wear and tear injuries that have built up over the years and Willie wants to have it as soon as possible so as to be able to return to batting practice pitching by Spring Training of the '08 season. No word on any roster moves to replace him.
