Man, that Steve Phillips is a jerk. I shut off Mike & Mike whenever he's on but I had the misfortune of just hearing him on Baseball Tonight. The lead story was the Chipper Jones-John Smoltz "bout" (as they called it). Phillips said that the sound we are hearing is from the Mets and their fans "because the Mets can't beat the Braves" so maybe the Braves can beat themselves.

No, Steve; the only time the Mets can't beat the Braves is when you're the Mets GM!
