Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 The Mets slumbering offense came to life and laid some lumber to the Nationals. The Mets exploded for 12 runs on 17 hits, 9 of which were for extra bases. Hopefully, this will get the offense rolling again after being rather sluggish of late. Time will tell. Decided to feature beers from states that haven't been represented yet in this lengthy season. So, from Vermont comes Magic Hat Blind Faith. There was plenty of worthy candidates in this game, so we have lots of cold beer on ice. So don't be bashful. Help yourself while enjoying a victory. Somebody needs to send a few cold one's along with our best wishes for a speedy recovery to Nick Johnson.
