Arrrrgg!!!! Another game, another lefty starter, and another loss. The Mets plated a first inning run to get an early lead and Orlando Hernandez pitch 7 solid innings to give the Mets a chance, but the offense again struggled against left handed pitching. The Pirates secured the victory with a run in the ninth on a walk off doulbe by catcher Ronny Paulino.

The Mets need to get tough and take a bite out of the Pirates tomorrow, so we have a twelve pack of Lost Colony Great White Beer for our POTG and his fellow nominees to share.
