One month after his last start, Pedro Martinez returned to the mound for the Mets with a chance to officially clinch the Division title. Unfortunately, Pedro didn't have it and the Pirates crashed the Mets anticipated party. Once again, the Mets fell to a lefty. The Pittsburgh Brewing Company had graciously sent over a plentiful supply of their Augustiner Lager in anticipation of a Mets celebration. Well, everyone might as well drown their disappointment with a few bottles of Augustiner and pray that the Pirates don't start a left handed pitcher tomorrow.
