Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 The Mets saved their best for last in this game. After falling behind 4-0 to the Marlins, the Mets staged a comeback to steal a victory from the Marlins. The Mets bullpen was once again superb. They combined to pitch 4 shut out innings against the fish. While the Marlins offense was stalling out against the Mets bullpen, the Mets hitters were busy bullying a succession of Marlins relievers. The Mets scored all six of their runs against the Marlins bullpen in the final 4 innings by amassing 10 hits and three walks. The Uinta Brewing Company of Salt Lake, Utah was our sponsor for this game and they were kind enough to send over a case of the Cutthroat Pale Ale. There's plenty of beer to go around, so enjoy it team, you earned it. http://www.uintabrewing.com/zassets/beerglasses/cuttglass.jpg
