Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Orlando Hernandez pitched seven strong innings and David Wright provided the big two out hit to drive in the tying and go ahead runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. Aaron Heilman and Billing Wagner each pitched a scoreless inning to close out the 3-2 victory for the Mets. This game ended early enough for the team to enjoy a few cold beers while enjoying another fine victory before the faithful at Shea. The fine people of Chico, California were kind enough to sponsor this game and send over a few cases of their Sierra Nevada Pale Ale for the team to enjoy. So join in on the celebration. Throw a nice steak on the grill and enjoy a few cold bottle of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.
