Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 This was a good old fashioned ass kickin' and unfortunately, the Mets were on the receiving end. Making his first start for the Dodgers, Hong-Chih Kuo was masterful last night. He dominated the Mets line up from the outset and never let up. Steve Trachsel was betrayed by the Mets defense early, but ultimately he couldn't match the performance of Kuo. This was the second shut out of the Mets at Shea this season and both have been during this homestand. This is a game where it is best to simply tip your cap to your opponent for a good performance, then hopefully go out and beat them the next day. So raise a Cass Beer in tribute to a worthy opponent and toast the Mets fine season.

Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 I agree, but the list of candidates was pretty small for this game.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 I know we would rather forget this game, but please vote and we'll file it away.
