Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 John Maine continued his resurgence since returning from the DL on July 3rd and the Mets continued winning. However, this victory almost came at a high price, as Carlos Beltran injured his left knee making a ninth innning catch that helped preserve the victory. Luckily, X-rays of the knee were negative and he is currently listed as day to day. Last night marked the return of Cliff Floyd from the DL and he immediately made his presence known with a 2 RBI double. David Wright continued his hot hitting of late.We celebrate last nights victory with a beer from Houston's own Saint Arnold Brewing Company. They were kind enough to provide a tub of iced down Saint Arnold Fancy Lawnmower Beer.
