A parade of Met hits and rapidly rising ERA's for opposing pitchers are almost a certainty. So it wasn't overly surprising that last night, Steve Trachsel was the benefactor of an offensive barrage by the Mets. The Mets line up pounded the Rockies pitchers for 15 hits including 2 home runs, 2 triples, and 4 doubles. Even Mets pitcher Steve Trachsel joined in on the fun with a single and a walk.The Mad River Brewing Company of the tiny hamlet of Blue Lake, California. They were kind enough to send over a case of their newest beer, Steelhead India Pale Ale for the Mets to sample and savor.
