Terrence Long last appeared in the big leagues on June 5th, subbing in the final innings for Johnny Damon as the Yankees battered the Red Sox 13-5.

With him and Fonzie currently not on big-league rosters, that leaves, by my count, nine former Pittsfield Mets active in the bigs. Three never played for the parent Mets. Name those nine, and any others I might've forgotten.

Dotel missed Pittsfield. Pride played a season there (after three straight years at Kingsport!). He's on a big-league disabled list, and I had overlooked him, but the judges are going to give you this one. He went merely 259 / .342 / .406 // .748. So that's six of a number now totalling ten.

C-Pride is in his 20th year of pro ball this year (10th in the bigs) and he's already announced it'll be his last. He's a two-time Met farmhand and original Met property, plus the only deaf guy, tho the Dodgers have a deaf pitching prospect who's name I can't recall.

I'm sure he can count at least enough to put down the right number of fingers for the pitcher, but he came up through the Cleveland system before the Mets snatched him up as a minor-league free agent.
