John Maine tossed a strong six innings and the offense finally woke up from it's recent slumber, helping the Mets avoid a sweep in Philadelphia. Carlos Beltran and Carlos Delgado put on a fireworks display. They sprayed hits all over and a few out of Citizens Bank Park. Hopefully, tonight's explosion will be the start of Delgado's resurgence for the Mets stretch run to the post-season.

At last, a performance worthy of a good beer. So tonight we celebrate with a favorite of mine, Warsteiner Premium Verum.
