Guest Spacemans Bong Guests Posted May 31, 2006 Posted May 31, 2006 Mets fail to sign Pedro Beato, formerly of Xavierian HS and a possible top ten pitching prospect. Very good sinker in the 89-91 range, hard slider, decent change.Mets were offering 750K, Beato wanted 1.4 mil.A little annoying although this kinda stuff happens all the time.
