Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted April 16, 2006 Posted April 16, 2006 Well the fun had to end sometime. As a team, the Mets had an off game. Neither the hitting or the pitching gave fans much to cheer about. Hopefully, the team will rebound in the series finale.Pretty slim pickings in this game, but someone has to be POTG. The POTG will win a six pack of Milwaukee's Best Light. They want a better brew, they need to play better.* If that doesn't inspire a greater effort, then nothing will.* I take partial blame for the team's shoody performance. Having been out of town for the Easter weekend, I had neglected to properly reward the POTG winners with a suitable liquid refreshment. The slow dial up service and periodic disconnects on my mother's computer were too frustrating for me to spend any more time on this weekend. Still, I guess I should have struggled through the frustrations and rewarded the POTG with an appropriate beverage in honor of their stellar performances.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 I know this was probably the Mets worst outing of the season, but we could still use a few votes for this one.
