There's an extensive account of the Boston/Tampa fight out on the wires, with Julian Tavarez coming across kind of jerkie.

They recount the history of bad blood between the teams, including one brawl starterd when Pedro Martinez opened a game by plunking Gerald Williams, which is somewhat more intriguing in the light of Williams doing that fold-up at the wall ending Pedro's no-hitter bid last year.
