Guest cooby Guests Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 We are very disappointed with both the team name and especially the (spike head) logo. We'll still be rooting for Williamsport.
Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 I like the news about Scranton and Allentown.Scranton is too far for me to drive to see a AAA Phillies game. But Allentown isn't.But if the Tides relocate to Scranton, I might make that drive once or twice a season.Of course, under the current alignment I can drive up to Scranton to see the Tides as a visiting team, but I've never actually done that. I used to go to Reading once a year to see the Binghamton Mets play, but for the last ten years the B-Mets one annual trip to Reading would always come at a bad time for me.I went to one Norfolk Tides home game in 1997. It was the first professional baseball game I had attended since the 1994 strike. The Tides won that day, and it was the first time I ever heard the name "Benny Agbayani."
