Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 Where the heck is everyone? Can you all be reading Harry Potter?Victor Zambrano and the Mets are losing to Tim Hudson and the Evil Braves, 2-0 in the middle of the 5th. It could have been worse, but Zambrano worked his way out of a bases loaded, one out jam in the 5th.Let's score some runs now!
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 We look pretty awful tonight. VZ's doing a pretty good job getting the outs when he needs them, but Iis a 2-run deficit too great to overcome?Top of the order in the 6th for the Mets....

Guest KC Guests Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 >>>Where the heck is everyone?<<<I don't feel posty. Where the heck is the offense?
Guest KC Guests Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 >>>Not even if I were tied down with Karo syrup dripped over me<<<It's images like this that get me through games like this.(sorry for the edit, I couldn't resist)
Guest cooby Guests Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 Good thing I edited my original post too then, to make it more family friendly. This family friendliness is no fun.
Guest KC Guests Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 Kazbrano strikes out the side in the top of the seventh.Mets still down by 2 at the stretch.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 Poor Graves. He needs to get away from the bigs for a bit.Or he may end up away from it for a while.

Guest KC Guests Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 The Mets lose 3-0, and I think they kinda stink like a diaper left in a sun drenched hot car for three or four hours with thewindows rolled up.
Guest Bret Sabermetric Guests Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 Victor Innameonly strikes again.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 By the way, Danny Graves attempted toss to first on the infield single by Rafael Furcal last night was:a) the most ill-advised attempt at a forceout?b) the lamest attempt at a forceout?c) both the lamest and most ill-advised attempt at a forceout?
Guest KC Guests Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 >>>Victor Innameonly strikes again.<<<What did he do? Such a statement in a game where the offense sucked, the Brave defense was awesome, and a pitcher lasts late into a game andonly gave up two earnies is very unsabermetriclike. Assclownlike is morelike it.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 The correct answer is (b). Yes it was lame. But Cairo's chuck against Pirates still holds the title of lamest for me.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 Don't mind Bret, he's just frustrated because Zambrano pitched like a Cy Young candidate in comparison to the lameass effort Clement gave his Red Sox.
Guest KC Guests Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 Good point. I forgot he was a Sawx fan this week.Like I tell the people at work, it's when I stop picking on them that they have to worry.
