We pick up the action in the fifth, as the 12-12 Mets are coming off a three-run rally in the fourth to go up, 3–1.

Francisco Lindor is in the lineup, three plate appearances into his day.  David Peterson is on the mound and making like a big-leaguer.

Luke Weaver taking over for Peterbilt in the sixth, and entroubling himself with two walks.

The Mets have pulled Weaver with the bases loaded after the Marlins sent a chill through the stadium by inserting a pinch-runner named "Dub Gleed."

The Marlins score one a fielder's choice groundout, but the force play eliminated Dub Gleed on the basepaths, so even though the Fish are still up, you can all breathe a little easier now.

And ... that's the inning.  No Dub, no troub.

Miami walks it off against Parker Carlson, who was signed in January and has yet to throw a regular season professional pitch.

That is the way things go in the spring, but a tough break for David, Son of Peter, who is our xPotG.
