According to reports (for what that may be worth), The Mets have added veteran infielder Christian Arroyo on a minor-league contract. While Arroyo has not had a career that screams out about his first-round pedigree, he had a solid four-year run as a part time infielder with Boston before spending 2025 minor-leaguing it for the Phillies.

Note: Virtually nothing in this deal has anything to do with Kyle Tucker, Framber Valdez, or Tarik Skubal.

He was a big prospect back in the day. Every time I hear his name I'm surprised he's still around. He's the consummate Quadruple-A player now.
