The Mets acquired Justin Garza, who last played in the majors in 2023 and who owns a 6.11 ERA at Triple-A this year, from the Giants.

They also signed Julian Merryweather, who had a solid year (68 G, 3.38 ERA) out of the 'pen in 2023. Unfortunately, things haven't been so merry lately, as he has a 6.15 ERA since then.
