Hey, remember when you didn't want to bother with 2021 predictions for guys who weren't likely to be Mets? Well, I was on of those guys, and now I'm a Met.



Hi, I'm José Peraza. I was a utility infielder for the 2020 Boston Red Sox and don't the Mets just love to get their reserve infielders from the Sox? I don't actually know the answer to that question, but it feels like a YES and that's certainly true of me.



I've played seven positions in the big leagues, including three appearances as a pitcher. I can make a pizza with one hand shine your shoes with the other. They'd both be ready at the same time, and you'd thank me for it. I'm that versatile. I've worked a game as a player, coach and ticket taker all in one afternoon. I can frost a cake and tune a mandolin at once.



Do you know how hard that is?



Yeah, OK, some of that is only feels true. But I could probably do it. I'm probably more likely to do it than you are to predict my season with any accuracy.
