G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 Released on Wednesday, claimed off waivers by Seattle on Friday. Like the pinch-runner himself, that was fast.Sam did run a lot as a Met. He was inserted eight times for PR purposes in September, placing him second on the club in the role (Juan Lagares went in to run nine times). Never got a hit, though not for the lack of his teammates cheering him on.Compressed September rosters are going to squeeze out the speedy bench player and the flexibility he brings.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 (edited) There goes part of the haul for Plawecki. Haggerty played a lot in early ST games, wearing #99 without his name on the jersey. Best of luck to him in Seattle. Edited January 12, 2020 by Guest
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 I was surprised at how quick he was as you don't usually see guys his size with that kind of speed.[FIMG=300]https://secure.i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/03551/hagegrty1_3551031b.jpg[/FIMG]
