Various outlets have reported that the Mets have signed former Phillies rotation mainstay Vance Worley.

Vance has danced around in recent years (Minnesota, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Miami), pitching out of the pen as often as not, serving as a sixth-starter/swingman.

It could mean any number of things, but probably doesn't mean anything good for A.J. Griffin.
