Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 Yeah, the Mets got a gaggle of strong-armed relievers in their selloff last year. But they're not all big-league ready. That's actually probably good. You want your talent, such as it is, spread over the system, rather than crowding into the same class. So you've got Rhame. You've seen Callahan. Who's next?Well, that's probably me. I'm Drew Smith and I'm starting at AA, possibly AAA. I don't know, but I'm coming fast, having played at three levels last season and put up ERAs under 2.00 in all three. I was with five teams and held opponents to a .188 average across all of them. I got a high-octane fastball and a hard curve. That's a guy you want, and that's why the Lucas Duda-trading Mets reached out and got me. But why was I traded twice in one season? Who does that with a minor league guy? What's wrong with me? I wonder. Maybe you know.[fimg=333]http://metsmerizedonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/IMG_1100.jpg[/fimg] [fimg=367]http://dailystache.net/wp-content/uploads/DAEfdXxV0AE7HBJ-660x400.jpg[/fimg][fimg=349]https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-sbjga2WS0Z4/WZxPQXNyMYI/AAAAAAAAW-k/PPUPZfneHWEsGM7e5QqE53hnC6cJQJ3jgCEwYBhgL/s1600/8%253A4_Smith.png[/fimg] [fimg=351]https://metsmerizedonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/drew-smith.jpg[/fimg]
