Ten Facts About Bryce Brentz

1. Yeah, big deal, he's a first rounder, but really he was drafted in the extended portion of the first round. Number 36 overall. If he hasn't had much of a career as yet, numbers 30, 31, 32, 33, 35, and 37 haven't played a single game in the majors among them. Number 38, on the other hand, was Noah Syndergaard.
   
   
   
2. His wife is something of Tennessee hoops legend, amassing an eye-popping 2,700 points in high school, playing all five positions, and another 1,183 points in college.
   
   
   
3. He not only led the International League in homers in 2017, but also won the AAA Home Run Derby.
   
   
   
4. He's not the only source of power in the family. His twin brother is something of a golf champ, specializing in long-assed drives, despite being a double amputee.
