Hi, I'm Francisco Lindor, Mets shortstop, here to kick off the predictions season. I got off to a slowish start in 2023, but I kicked it in when June arrived and never looked back. Had the season continued, I might have been moving into MVP territory. I think the luxury tax is seemingly working (at least, as far as its purpose is concerned), with higher-income teams more gunshy about doubling down, and payrolls are starting to drift closer to the mean. That would be speculative, and I guess I'll have to look to confirm.
